Education : Bachelor's/College Degree in any relevant field
Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience in a related capacity
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Overview:

The Project Development Officer II (PDO II) will work as an administration support for R&D in the fields of ICT and microelectronics for the ULAT project.

He / She assists and performs administrative functions concerned with the project which may include but not limited to making appointments, ordering supplies, preparing documentation for site visits, preparing reports etc.

Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall perform the following:

  • Coordinate and set meetings with Local Government Units (LGUs), academe, other government institutions regarding the installation of 50 weather and lightning instruments in Metro Manila and 10 nationwide;
  • Perform regular follow-ups on the status of the Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) regarding the installation of the weather instruments;
  • Coordinate meetings including securing meeting venue, securing appointments, prepare necessary documents such as the Attendance Sheet, Authority to Serve, Minutes of the Meeting and ensure that meeting expenses are reimbursed;
  • Assist in tracking, coordinating, and monitoring importation and shipments from project partners;
  • Assist in the monitoring of project budget and expenditures;
  • Assist in planning project activities within the project such as local and foreign travels for trainings, deployment activities, joint coordinating committee (JCC) meetings, stakeholder meetings etc.
  • Assist in update project calendars for the project;
  • Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations when necessary;
  • Draft correspondences to project partners, stakeholders, funding agencies etc.
  • Documentation of all project activities; and
  • Write articles on project activities and milestones.
