JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor’s/College Degree of any IT-related course such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
Experience : None required
Training : None required
Eligibility : None required
Other Requirements :
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle stages and the processes under each stage
  • Proven software development experience and Android skills development (recent graduates with a strong portfolio will also be considered)
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Android Studio, Kotlin, MVC Framework, Express JS, MongoDB or CouchDB or any NoSQL database is a major plus
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, etc.
  • Understanding Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Must have a keen eye for detail; good analytical skills, can criticize own work; good in benchmarking and optimization
  • Can work with minimal supervision
Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall perform the following:

  • Design user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces for mobile applications;
  • Collaborate with business analyst and back-end developers to define the UI/UX and its implementation;
  • Perform hands-on programming tasks, such as prototyping, feature development, bug fixing, testing across multiple platforms and mobile applications;
  • Design and implement mobile applications;
  • Translate exchange specifications and build systems' prototype
  • Produce system's manuals and technical documentation;
  • Ensure system features behave according to specifications by conducting unit test, integration test, and regression test;
  • Handle minor task tickets which may be specific to software programmer, software tester, or business analyst;
  • Proactively collaborate with other team members in delivering software requirements.
