Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accountancy, Economics or other related course
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant experience
Eligibility : None required
Other Requirements :
  • Knowledgeable on computer office software applications 
  • With special interest on the subjects of Information and Communications Technology, engineering, and business management preferred 
  • Excellent problem solving (situational), interpersonal, and communication skills (specifically writing) 
  • Can work effectively on minimal supervision  
  • With ability to work under pressure 
  • With entrepreneurial mindset 
Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Administrative Assistant VI (Financial Management Officer)  shall be in-charge of the over-all financial management of the TLO unit. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and research documents for the valuation of technologies for commercialization;
  • Assist on the preparation of financial reports, agreements, and documents relevant to distribution and management of royalties or income of the agency on technology transfer;
  • Inspect books and review financial documents of licensee applicants during due diligence process and during the licensing period;
  • Attend and address financial queries of the licensee and the Fairness Opinion Board (FOB) during evaluations;
  • Prepare financial related documents of projects/technologies for submission to the FOB;
  • Coordinate with the FAD and the Office of the Director in terms of budgetary plan, procurement, and requirements of the unit;
  • Create financial projection reports and other relevant documents which are relevant to commercialization or technology transfer;
  • Other administrative tasks such as routing of documents, assistance on inventories, and other financial and business related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
