On 17 May 2019, the PHL-Microsat/Stamina4Space Program Team demonstrated the Amateur Radio capabilities of the Diwata-2 microsatellite. During disasters, #Diwata2's Amateur Radio Unit (ARU) can help transmit messages throughout the country and reach emergency responders when communication lines on the ground are down.
