DOST-ASTI inspires future AI Engrs, Researchers at 13th ICT Roadshow
Echague, Isabela - The Department of Science and Technology-Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI) captivated attendees of the 13th ICT Roadshow with its groundbreaking ICT initiatives and research and development (R&D) projects.
The event, organized by the College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology (CCSICT) of Isabela State University, San Fabian, Echague, Isabela with the theme "TECH 4 GOOD: Seizing Technology Innovation Towards Global Opportunities on Development and Transformation" was held from 25-26 May 2023.

The ICT Roadshow brought together industry leaders, researchers, and technology enthusiasts for an engaging series of presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. DOST-ASTI took center stage to present its cutting-edge R&D projects ASTI-Automated Labeling Machine (ASTI-ALaM), Gul.ai IoT-based phenotyping platform, iTANONG natural language system, Kooha social sensing network application, Quantum Circuit Simulator (QCS), and DataProtect blockchain technology.
Engineers and researchers from DOST-ASTI were the speakers of the event. They presented and discussed CSD-related projects and services about quantum computing, machine learning, blockchain technology, among other applications and R&D activities.
Dr. Allan P. Tupong, Municipal Vice Mayor of Echague, Isabela; Dr. Allan P. Tupong, Municipal Vice Mayor of Echague, Isabela; and Dr. Suttisak Jantavongso, Director of the M.Sc. International Digital Business Program at Rangsit University, Thailand graced the event and delivered their keynote speeches—with Director Jantavongso presenting on the challenges and opportunities faced by women in pursuing empowerment and equality in ICT during the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
