DOST-ASTI Acting Director Joel Joseph Marciano Jr. guested on the July 6 episode of the radio show DOSTv sa Radyo.

In the episode, Dr. Marciano discussed the mandate of the Department of Science Technology-Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI) and the different R&D technologies of past and present. 

DOST-ASTI services such as PREGINET, the country’s first Research and Education Network (REN), and undertakings such as the country’s microsatellites were featured in the interview. Dr. Marciano also narrated the agency’s foray into computing, space technologies, and data science for various research applications to solve challenges in agriculture, development, and disasters.
