POSITION TITLE : Computer Programmer I

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor's/College Degree of any IT related course such as Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.
Experience : None required
Training : None required
Eligibility : None required
Other Requirements :
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Hand-coding HTML, Javascript, and CSS W3C standards compliant (recent graduates with a strong portfolio will also be considered)
  • One of the following technologies – Java EE/ .NET
  • Web technologies – HTML / ASP / PHP / JS
  • Experience in graphics optimization for use on the web, jQuery or other javascript frameworks, JEE, JSF, and Angular JS is a plus
  • Must be a team player, communicator, adaptable and self-motivated
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming using Java
  • Knowledge in Java EE platform and Spring framework is an advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall perform the following:

  • Design user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces;
  • Supervise the development activities and its sub-groups in accomplishing deadlines and meeting the desired output set by the project;
  • Collaborate with business analyst and other developers to define the user experience;
  • Perform hands-on front-end and back-end development tasks, such as prototyping, feature development, business logic, bug fixing, testing across multiple browsers/platforms;
  • Ensure complex functionalities are working properly;
  • Advocate for best practices, coding W3C standards, great usability and exceptional quality, with awareness of client needs and priorities;
  • Keep-up on new internet standards and web technologies;
  • Integrate interactive elements and ensure all complex functionality is working properly;
  • Implement development protocols and standardization;
  • Contribute to other components of the project;
  • Participate in events and other activities (e.g., exhibits, meetings, and seminars) necessary in the implementation of the Project; and
  • Carry out other tasks as may be required by the project.
