    Education        : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in any IT-related course

    Requirements

: •    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree of any IT related course such as Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.

•    Knowledge and experience with the following are an advantage:

◦   Java programming language

◦   Selenium testing suite

◦   XML

◦   Software testing methodologies

◦   Software Development methodologies

•    With good oral and written communication skills

•    Can work with minimal supervision

•    Must be a team player, communicator, adaptable and self motivated

•    Proactive during meetings and brainstorming sessions

•    Must be willing to render overtime as necessary

•    Must be willing to research on assigned topics with regard to software testing

•    Must have at least satisfactory knowledge in using Microsoft Windows and any Linux operating system

•    Must have experience in using Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Internet Explorer internet browser

•    Must be agreeable to following office rules and guidelines

•    Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall perform the following:

•    Learn types of software testing and testing methodologies

•    Understand and review software documents(user stories, validation document, test plan, test design, etc) in preparation for testing

•    Inform the test lead about what all resources will be required for software testing

•    Develop and document test cases for testing and learn to prioritize testing activities

•    Collect Test data

•    Execute all the test case

•    Identify, report and document software defects using provided templates

•    Define severity and priority for each defect

•    Keep track of status of software defects and update bug reports as necessary

•    Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defect

•    Communicate with programmers and business analyst as necessary

•    Report to work on time

•    Finally, but importantly, help make work fun!
