ASTICon 2024

The Advanced Science, Technology and Innovation Convention (ASTICon) aims to establish itself as the premier Information and Communications Technology Research and Development showcase event in the country, setting itself apart from DOST-ASTI's participation in other promotional events like the science and technology weeks. This agency-wide event seeks to bring together stakeholders from the private sector, local government units (LGUs), academia, and other government agencies (NGAs) to foster exchange of ideas and create collaborative opportunities between DOST-ASTI and its partner agencies.
To officially launch this event, DOST-ASTI partnered with the University of the Philippines, facilitated by the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute. At its core, ASTICon is designed to elevate public awareness of DOST-ASTI's extensive capabilities, exemplified through its innovative projects and services. By providing a platform for engagement and interaction, the event aims to showcase DOST-ASTI's pioneering contributions to the ICT landscape while promoting partnerships that drive technological advancement and societal progress in the country. The two-day event will showcase cutting-edge research and technology services pioneered by DOST-ASTI and UP. The event will also highlight several key areas of interest, including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Space Technology, Internet-of-Things, and Smart Technologies.
